How lovely to see so many people in Ottery St Mary on Friday for the Festive Cheer event. We very much appreciate the hard work of the town council and all involved. Seeing the steam engines go around was very exciting and hearing the singing was so lovely.
It was nice to welcome so many people into the shop and to chat to you all. Making badges and paper art gift tags with so many of you was a joy - even if I struggled with the badge machine at times!!
Our favourite Aether & Nox jewellery was very popular but we still have plenty of new stock in and ready for you to enjoy. We try to stock gifts that are practical and useable and made with care. Hand crafted or made supporting communities and the environment.
We have some lovely workshops in store in December. All should be achievable in 2 hours and we've tried to keep costs down to save on expense. We have some great wooden and tin toys to avoid all the plastic around at this time of year and we've some alternative Christmas wreaths for you to re-use - lovely flat wooden printed wreaths from East End Press and some crochet options. Again we have tried to make these beautiful whilst keeping costs down to keep them affordable and of course all our options are reusable next year or for other projects and events.
We are closed for a short holiday this week but will be back next week and looking forward to making lovely things with you.
